Education through music
The so-called musicalising of the child is nothing more than free music making - tapping the rhythm, singing or singing during various activities with the child, jiggling with the child in his arms - nothing complicated. It is often very natural for us, and there is a lot of power in music! And a very important piece of information that we used to repeat like a mantra - even if you are faking it, the benefits of singing to your child are much greater than if you were not to do it for fear of imperfectly performed! Playing music together builds relationships, develops sensitivity and openness. Expression through music has been present in all cultures of the world since the dawn of time.
The next step is to introduce the child to the world of instruments and sounds. At the beginning, everyday items are perfect: pots, bottles, cutlery, wooden spoons, bubble wrap, a comb - a whole range of sound sources. At the same time, let children have free access to various instruments, even the basic ones, such as a tambourine or a drum. Let's play and let us improvise, explore the world of sounds. It's a lot of fun for kids. It is also a good idea to make simple instruments (rattles, pipes) yourself, which, contrary to appearances, is not that difficult.
Another way to educate by making music is to create musical rituals. They can be songs accompanying everyday life, joint dances, free playing instruments, singing lullabies before falling asleep or playing with music books. Children love repetitions!
